Your first class: What to expect
Our free trial class is beginner-friendly and welcoming to all students aged seven and up. You can expect a gentle introduction to Traditional Taekwondo, focusing on simple fundamentals, safe movement, and encouragement at your own pace. Wear comfortable workout clothes like a T-shirt and tracksuit bottoms. If you decide to continue, we will help you with an official dobok (uniform). We aim to highlight confidence, discipline, fitness, practical self-defence, and fun in every session.
Building confidence and discipline
A trial class allows children to explore new skills in a supportive setting. They will follow clear instructions, enjoy positive movement, and take achievable steps that build confidence. Our class routines encourage listening, courtesy, focus, and discipline, while active practice makes fitness enjoyable. We believe every student progresses differently, and our focus is always on encouragement rather than pressure.
Perfect for complete beginners
Complete beginners are welcome and no previous martial arts experience is needed. Students must be aged seven or older; teenagers and adults may also apply. Use the form below to tell us about the applicant and choose your preferred club.

Tell us about previous martial arts experience and any medical conditions, physical challenges or neurodiverse support needs that will help us support the applicant safely.
